Chief Executive Officer
Gerald Heuserer is the CEO of DRS, bringing over 25 years of experience in industrial solutions and engineering excellence. He specialises in automation, mechanical, and electrical engineering for the aluminium, steel, and power industries.
Prior to DRS, Gerald held key technical and consulting roles, including serving as an Aluminium Consultant for cast house operations at AMTC Mechanical Group and holding positions at Hertwich Engineering, a globally recognised leader in aluminium casthouse solutions based in Austria.
His deep industry expertise and extensive international network have been instrumental in establishing DRS as a trusted partner for industrial clients across the Middle East and beyond.

Partha Pratim Banerjee serves as Chief Operating Officer of DRS, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving operational efficiency and project delivery.
A seasoned automation and software engineering professional with over 15 years of experience, Partha has been with DRS since its early days, helping shape the company’s technical and operational capabilities.
His career spans roles across India and the UAE, including working alongside Hertwich Engineering on automation, instrumentation, and electrical systems for major industrial projects. With deep expertise in PLC programming, SCADA development, process control, and plant commissioning, Partha’s strong technical foundation and project management acumen ensure that DRS consistently delivers high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Ryan Joseph Lapa
General Manager – Bahrain & Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Ryan Joseph Lapa serves as General Manager for DRS’s operations in Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, overseeing business development, client relationships, and project execution across the Gulf region.
A qualified aerospace engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from Kingston University, Ryan brings nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the aluminium industry.
Prior to joining DRS, he held roles at Aluminium Bahrain (ALBA) and spent over three years with Hertwich Engineering as a Field Mechanical Engineer and Site Safety Manager. His experience spans the full project lifecycle — from planning and installation through to commissioning and safety management — and his on-the-ground expertise is instrumental in strengthening DRS’s presence across the GCC.
