Completed in 2025, Everclad delivered the external render package at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, working alongside Morgan Sindall Construction on the Trust’s new Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Floor Expansion.
The £24m facility is the latest addition to Alder Hey’s growing healthcare campus, housing the country’s first surgical NICU of its kind alongside an expanded emergency care floor – making consistent detailing and a high-quality finish across the elevations essential to the wider architectural intent.
Delivered on a live hospital campus, the works required careful planning and sequencing throughout, ensuring the render package progressed safely and to programme with minimal disruption to the surrounding clinical environment.
