Vision Express Haywards Heath – Roof Leak

External works:
Engineers will access the rear flat roof using the staircase leading to the flat above
We will clear all the debris and rubbish off the rear flat roof (not around the flat, as this does not
belong to Vision Express) and dispose of it
The gutters will be cleared of all vegetation and the 2No. long downpipes running across the flat
roof, cut down to a sensible size to discharge onto the flat roof.
Engineers will then install a polyurethane waterproofing compound onto the felt above the leak,
approximately 8sqm
Once the waterproofing compound has cured, we will apply a UV top coat to the specified area
Please note: We have only allowed for a patch repair; if the leak continues, the whole roof may have
to be re-coated at additional costs
The damaged pointing on the parapet wall will be removed and re-pointed with new sand and
cement to match the existing, approximately 1.5lm
Internally:
Engineers will replace the 1No. damaged, missing ceiling tile with a new 600mm x 600mm square
edge 24mm grid ceiling tile, to best match existing
